About Me

I grew up in New Paltz, a beautiful leaf-peeper town in (relatively) upstate New York, and moved to Columbus, OH after graduating from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. I studied Cinema and Photography with minors in Audio Production and Deaf Studies, and I am a proud alum of the National Professional Cinematic Society, DKA.

At Ithaca, I co-wrote, directed and sound edited two narrative short films, YourOwn (2020) and Of Sound Mind (2023). YourOwn won the Best Narrative Short Award at the London Indie Short Festival of 24 Frames (now London International Filmmakers Festival).

In the summer of 2021, I interned for the renowned women’s film distributor, Women Make Movies in their Marketing and Distribution department. This sparked my interest in women-centered film distribution, which led me to my current position with the Through Women’s Eyes International Film Festival as their program assistant.

For three years, I was the Chair of Publicity for IC Unbound Dance Company, a student-run dance company that I also danced with. For IC Unbound, I directed, edited and color-graded five promotional dance films, involving between 40-60 dancers per video (including myself!). Through this experience, I found my passion for dance filmmaking.

As the current Editor/Content Manager for the San Francisco Dance Film Festival, I passionately work towards the organization’s (and my personal) mission to increase the accessibility and visibility of dance by bringing it to new audiences, and I aim to support the growth and integrity of the dance film community through social media. I have also done video editing, graphic design and/or social media assistance for Portland Dance Film Fest, LA Dance Film Festival, Frameform Podcast, Early Era Collective, LA Unbound Dance Company and Boulder Ballet.

In my free time, I attend dance classes, watch a lot of anime with my partner, and look longingly at pictures of my two kitties in NY whom I miss dearly.

Let’s Work Together!

Thanks! Looking forward to connecting.
